- Sammy's Basin

Sammy’s basin is in the heart of Daisy Nook country park, It is a circular pool with staging to 3 sides of the water. Its average depth is less than 4 feet but it is absolutely stuffed with fish.

Sammy’s is available on day ticket at £2.00 juniors, £4.00 adults per day. Club members fish for free on condition that they are carrying their membership book and are able to present it to our bailiff on request. Members without books will be treated as non-members required to purchase a day ticket. Our bailiff visits the water several times a day to collect peg fees and check over the water.

The water is easily accessible by well laid out foot paths but please be warned it is a little bit of a treck from the car parks. You can park on the main public car park at the top of Stannybrook road turn left down the steps just past Crime View pub, walk for 600 meters and you will come to Sammy’s Basin on your left.

Sammy’s Basin is situated in the middle of Daisy Nook country park. It is a beautiful location to spend a day fishing, it’s also imperative we keep it this way. It is your responsibility to remove your unwanted litter when you leave the water.
