Bardsley Canal is a super little water containing 18 well-spaced pegs. The water contains a wide variety of species including carp, chub, skimmers, roach, rudd and tench and is ideal for young children (with adults).

You can fish the water on a day ticket for £2.00 juniors, £4.00 Adults. Fees are collected by our bailiff on the bank. Club members fish for free on condition that they are carrying their membership book and are able to present it to our bailiff on request. Members without books will be treated as non-members required to purchase a day ticket. (Complete re-write of sentence).

- Location

The water is situated on the left hand side of the A627 as you travel out of Ashton towards Oldham. The entrance is at the foot of Bardsley Brew facing the former chemical works. There is a public car park 50 yards from the entrance. Access to the canal is easy and is suitable for disabled anglers.
